Beautiful app!

So helpful! All in one place, with multiple levels of supportive info for each park. Well executed!

Possibly the best value...

... from REI in my 40+ years of membership (#202xxx)

Superb app: comprehensive, useful, free!

Useful, easy-to-navigate. Visually appealing. Comprehensive.

Great resource

Highly recommended!

Keeps getting better with time

Love the app. Wish the interface to load new trails was better; have to use hiking project app to do so.

Awesome

What a great app! Thank you REI

Doesnt work well for Alaska

This looks like it would work alright in the lower 48, but in Alaska its nearly worthless. Only has trails and guides around Kenai and Denali. Can find better trail guides in books or online. Would recommend trying to expand this database to state parks as well.

hell yah

just moved to cuyahoga national park. perfect for trail running!

Many Parks Missing.

There are many National Parks not available. Very heavy on Western US including smaller National Parks. What makes me rate it low, is the volume of missing parks, exclusion of National Lakeshore Parks (Pictured Rocks), and large Eastern parks like Smokey Mountain National Park.

Great App

Loving this app. The trail maps are incredible. Just fun to sit and explore possible hiking trails and camp sites. Give it a try, you wont be disappointed

Great!

Easy to use and setup! Very smooth interface.

Great App!

Its easy to tell a lot of work has gone into this app. Its extremely well done!

Great for quick trips or long hauls

The only app to use for any trail experience. Add SMOKY MOUNTAINS TN PLEASE.

Nice!

Phenomenal app

Most user-friendly nat. parks app!

Usually planning a trip to a national park involves hours of poring over information from a variety of different websites, but this app brings everything I need in an easy-to-navigate format. I love the trail map: makes it so easy to plan my trip. My one request: Id like it to be easier to find campgrounds. It would be ideal if you could click on campground names to go to them on the trail map.

This app is awesome

I just used this app in Mt Rainier, Mt St Helens, and Olympic national park. It was awesome with gps and no cell Service. The hiking trail details were excellent. Extremely accurate. Over all very impressive. Changed hiking forever for me...

Great app but…

This app is terrific in many ways, except there doesnt appear to be a way to sort trails within a park alphabetically, by difficulty, or by region. Id like to know if this functionality is there and Im not looking in the right place. Otherwise, terrific source of info.

Okay, but not great

I used this in Rocky Mountain national park for the first time last week. It worked fairly well, but there were 3 challenges I had: 1) The inability to search. You have to scroll and seek places on the map yourself. For example, you cannot just search "Haynach Campground." You have to keep tapping campgrounds around the area you think it is to find it. 2) When you zoom in close, you lose resolution. To get clear image and topography, you have to zoom out, which is sometimes inconvenient. 3. One campground was inaccurately located on the map. The REI app said we had passed the campsite, but we had not reached it yet (Sunset Campground). This really confused us when trying to locate our campsite. Not sure how many examples there are of that.

Best hiking map ever!

This map is beautiful with a detailed description and photos of virtually almost every national park trail! This was extremely useful when planning our trip to Glacier Park!
